Character Development & Actors

Actors

In my trailer I use 4 main actors which are: The boy who creates twitter, his friend, the man who wants to steal twitter and the female friend of the twitter creator. Only two of these really show the genre which is drama because of the concept of an idea which has the potential to make millions of pounds.

Character 1: Will Jewell (Me)
Role in trailer: The creator of twitter
Importance in the trailer: This is the most important role in the whole film because if he wasn't in the trailer there would be no story line. He is in nearly every scene and is the main figure throughout. He is a key part to generate the genre of the trailer.

Character 2: Will Grimsey
Role in trailer: Sam the friend of the creator of twitter
Importance in the trailer: Will has a very small part to play as he is in only two scenes which are filmed at my house. The character is there to show the concept of remembering who your true friends are when you become rich and famous. He is an encouraging character which makes him important to remember during the film although he isn't a key figure.

Character 3: Ed Price
Role in trailer: Evil guy who tries to steal twitter
Importance in the trailer: He is a key part of this trailer. He only stares in the cafe scene but has a big impact on the film because he changes the fortunes of Will by wanting to steal the idea of twitter. If he wasn't there then it wouldn't be a drama because Ed is the one who causes all the stress and gets the audience interested in what's going to happen next.

Character 4: Emily Bryson
Role in trailer: Close female friend of Wills
Importance in the trailer: This character although she only appears in one 2 second scene is quite important to the story line because she has become a new friend of his since he came into money which is part of the story line as it says 'remember who your friends are when you become rich and famous'. She is shown celebrating with Will which shows he has forgotten about his old friends and wants to live the high life with other successful people.
